This is a collection of
comics the shortest summary for which could be that two characters
ponder stuff, by themselves and together. The characters are Tuikku
Hammasvänrikki, imaginer of things and upholder of introversion, and
Outi "Orvi" Jänis, acquirer of ambition and meddler of spiritual
proportions. At the moment they attend a school three grades apart from
each other and reside a world a few more steps away from how they would
like it.
Isn't this "Infanticide"?
The first six comics are what I used to call that, yes. Those cover
Tuikku's own explorations for a year or two, but it was only a matter of
time before she would run into Orvi, and most importantly before I would
get tired of wrapping her into her own little world.
Consider the rest of the comic(s) its sequel, and a way for her story to
continue to stay alive.
Isn't that the same
Orvi as in Otter Soldiers?
Yes. The first comic featuring her here takes place two months after
SsOS' epilogue. I recommend you read that comic, too, to get a better idea of
her character, if you haven't already.
Tuikku makes a few cameo appearances in SsOS as well (see pictures).
So is
everything happening in this comic
canon for SsOS and vice versa?
Yes.
Regular updates?
No.
